The auction house VIA GmbH – Vienna International Auctions has been around since 2019. Founder Mag. Raphael S. Hiltbrunner has always been enthusiastic about coins. His father, Peter R. Hiltbrunner, is a numismatist himself and has enjoyed the best reputation worldwide for over 40 years. He was also able to get his son interested in coin studies at a young age, and he decided to continue the family tradition of numismatics.

After studying numismatics in Vienna, Mr. Hiltbrunner gained experience abroad. International auctions of gold coins and silver coins from all eras have always been part of his professional life.
