Reverse: In a cartouche between oak branches in the section-3 lines inscription: HIE BASEL / HIE SCHWEIZER= / BODEN, half-length portraits of Swiss Confederates and Baselers holding hands, in the background a procession, above a banner with 1501, signed above HANS FREI.
